Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

To use Jumo Chat, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country, in compliance with Italian and EU law).
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Agree to comply with these Terms, Italian law, and applicable EU regulations.

2. Account and User Conduct

  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You agree not to use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
  • You may not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you send or share, even if it's anonymous.
  • You must not harass, threaten, abuse, or violate the privacy of any other user.
  • You agree to use the app in compliance with GDPR and Italian privacy regulations.

3. Messaging and Anonymity

  • Jumo Chat may allow anonymous posting or messaging. While we provide tools for private expression, we do not tolerate misuse.
  • You may not use anonymity to spread hate, bullying, false information, or content prohibited under Italian or EU law.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or ban accounts that misuse anonymity features.

4. Paid Features and Credits

  • Jumo Chat may offer in-app purchases, including credits for sending messages or unlocking features.
  • All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable Italian or EU consumer protection law.
  • Misuse of credits (e.g., spam, harassment) may lead to account restrictions without refund.

5. Content Rights and License

  • You retain ownership of content you create, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content to operate the App.
  • We may remove any content that violates these Terms or is reported by users.

6. Privacy

  • We respect your privacy and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Anonymity is respected where promised, but illegal activity or threats may be reported to authorities in Italy or the EU.

7. Suspension and Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access to Jumo Chat at any time for violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.
  • In serious cases (e.g., harassment, illegal activity), we may take legal action under Italian law.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • The App is provided “as is.” We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or content quality.
  • We are not liable for content posted by users or third-party interactions.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the extent permitted by Italian law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the new Terms.
  • Italian and EU law may require notification for significant updates.
